WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 is treading water, little-changed. But from a week ago we are up +0.5%. The benchmark index is now down -0.2% over the past month and -1.4% over six months, although it remains up +4.9% over the past year.
THE MAIN GAINERS
A total of 26 stocks finished higher during the session, led by Kathmandu Holdings (KMD, #50), which surged +9.0%, lifting its five-day gain to +5.0% and its one-month performance to +17.0%, although the stock remains down -48.0% over six months and -57.0% over the past year. Sky Network (SKT, #46) gained +3.0%, extending its five-day advance to +3.0% and maintaining a +17.0% annual gain despite being down -5.0% over six months. Tourism Holdings (THL, #44) rose +2.0%, with the stock remaining up +18.0% over one month and +81.0% over the past year despite a -5.0% six-month decline. SkyCity Entertainment (SKC, #42) also added +2.0%, though it remains down -22.0% over one month, -40.0% over six months and -45.0% over the past year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
Declines were widespread, with 50 stocks ending the day lower. Vulcan Steel (VSL, #31) led the fallers, dropping -7.0%, taking its one-month decline to -6.0% and six-month performance to -29.0%, although it remains up +13.0% over the past year. Gentrack (GTK, #47) fell -4.0%, extending losses to -7.0% over both five days and one month, while remaining down -60.0% over six months and -68.0% over the past year. Oceania Healthcare (OCA, #43) declined -3.0%, adding to a -4.0% five-day loss and leaving the stock down -22.0% over six months despite being up +16.0% year-on-year. Ebos Group (EBO, #12) also fell -3.0%, although it remains up +5.0% over five days while sitting down -4.0% over one month, -27.0% over six months and -45.0% over the past year.

KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Serko (SKO, #49) has announced leadership changes aimed at accelerating execution of its growth strategy, with Chief Operating Officer Matthew Gerrie assuming expanded responsibility for the company’s day-to-day operational performance across all business functions. Chief Executive and co-founder Darrin Grafton said the changes will allow him to focus on strategic positioning, industry developments and key external relationships as artificial intelligence reshapes the travel technology sector. Serko also promoted David Holyoke to Chief Product Officer and a member of the Executive Team, recognising his leadership in developing the company’s AI-powered solutions and growing its Booking.com for Business offering.
