Three sold, three passed in at latest Ray White City Apartments auction
This studio leased to the Heritage Hotel sold for $245,500 plus GST.

Ray White City Apartments achieved a 50% clearance rate at this week's auction, with three of the six apartments on offer selling under the hammer.

The most spirited bidding was for a rented two bedder in student territory on Liverpool St at the top end of Queen St, and for a studio in the luxurious Heritage Hotel complex.

The full results are below:

1104/11 Liverpool St. City Zone building. A 53sq m, two bedroom, furnished unit, rented on a periodic tenancy at $375 a week. There were several bidders for this property and it sold under the hammer for $266,000. Rates were $894 and the body corporate levy $3376. According to QV.co.nz it was last sold for $186,000 in 2003. Its latest rating valuation was $230,000. The agents were Estee Zeng and Daniel Horrobin.

405/22 Nelson St. The Heritage building. A 38sq m (including balcony) furnished studio leased to the Heritage Hotel, with a car park on its own title. There were several bidders for the property and it sold under the hammer for $245,500 plus GST. Rates were $2099 and the body corporate levy $4968 for the apartment and $1019 for the car park. No sales history was available but its latest rating valuation was $220,000. The agent was Dominic Worthington.

9b/88 Anzac Ave, Harbour Royal building. A 90sq m, two bedroom furnished apartment with harbour views and a car park. The auctioneer opened the bidding with a vendor's bid of $500,000 and when no further bids were received it was passed in. The agent was Ann Bennett.

4a/6 Winchester St, Newton. A 75sq m, three bedroom apartment with a car park, balcony and views across Newton Gully towards Mt Eden. There were no bids on the property and it was passed in. The agents were Michelle and Judi Yurak.

3b/99 Anzac Ave. Focus on Anzac building. A 55sq m two bedroom, furnished unit rented until February 2015 at $450 a week, but with rent appraised at $440-$460 unfurnished or $480-$500 furnished. It sold under the hammer for $250,000. Rates were $1097 and the body corporate levy $4050. According to QV.co.nz the unit has not changed in price since it was last sold for $250,000 in June last year. It's rating valuation was $265,000. The agent was Dusan Valenta.

8a/62 Queen St. Portland Tower. A 31sq m, one bedroom unit leased to the Quest Hotel until 2030. Passed in with a top bid of $100,000. The agent was Dominic Worthington.
