Prices started at $600,000 for a house in Papatoetoe at Bayleys' latest Auckland auctions

This two bedroom house on 1.0883ha of land near Putaruru sold for $325,000.

The auction rooms remained mostly quiet in the week before the election, with Bayleys marketing 18 Auckland homes for auction and selling eight of them, giving a sales clearance rate of 44%.

South of the Bombays, Bayleys achieved an almost identical result, auctioning homes in Hawke's Bay, the Waikato and Hauraki Plains, achieving a sales rate of 43%.

At the Auckland auctions prices started at $600,000 for a two bedroom brick and tile house in Papatoetoe, and went up to $2,615,000 for a bungalow in Grey Lynn.

Down the line a three bedroom cottage on just over one hectare of land just out of Putaruru sold for $325,000, and a 5512 square metre lifestyle section at Eskdale north of Napier sold for $525,000.

The full results with the details of each property and the prices achieved for the individual properties that sold are available on our Residential Auction Results page.

Included with Bayleys' residential auctions last week was a 285 square metre light industrial unit at Silverdale which sold for $680,000.
