Here are the key changes to know about in the New Zealand equity market today; Vista rises with Skellerup. Mercury falls with FBU

Here are the key things you need to know about in the NZX markets over the past 24 hours. Changes are as at 3:00 pm and may change when the market closes at 4:45 pm.

WHAT THE NZX50 IS DOING
The NZX50 is down -0.4% from yesterday, meaning the index will end the trading week up +1.3%. The NZX50 is now up +12.5% year-on-year.

THE MAIN GAINERS
There are 38 gainers on the Mainboard today with Vista Group Limited (VGL, #36) leading up +2.4%. The company is now up a huge +72.8% over the last six months, up +88.1% year-on-year. Skellerup Holdings (SKL, #34) is second on the board today up +2.1% today and will end the week level. SKL now gaining +4.3% over the last year. The NZX (NZX, #44) themselves are on the gainers list for a consecutive day gaining a further +1.5%. The NZX have a gain of +32.4% over the last six months, up +26.2% for the year-to-date.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
Mercury Energy (MCY, #5) lead the group of 45 decliners today down -1.8%. The energy producer finish the week declining -5.6%, up +3.2% for the year. Fletcher Building (FBU, #18) continue their decline, down -1.7%. FBU are down a huge -41% year-on-year. The next biggest decline is by Infratil (IFT, #4) down -1.6% today. IFT are up a strong +15.5% over the month, gaining +20.6% for the year.
