WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 rose marginally, up +0.1% today, though it slipped -1.3% over the past five days. The index is down -5.5% over the last six months but maintained a +6.5% gain year-on-year.
THE MAIN GAINERS
There are 40 gainers in the market. Scales Corp (SCL, #35) climbed +2%, though it’s down -1% over five days. It gained +11% over the month and is up +40% year-on-year. Channel Infrastructure (CHI, #31) also lifted +2%, up +4% over five days, +6% over the month, and +50% year-on-year. Vista Group (VGL, #33) gained +2%, with a +11% rise over six months and a +56% gain year-on-year. Argosy Property (ARG, #29) added +1%, up +4% over the last five days, +7% over six months, and +9% year-on-year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
Of the 29 decliners, Fletcher Building (FBU, #14) was the main faller, down -2% today, -9% over the week, and -10% over the month. Year-on-year, however, it remains up +5%. Goodman Property Trust (GMT, #15) slipped -1%, now down -6% for the year. Air New Zealand (AIR, #21) also dropped -1%, down -5% over the month but up +6% year-on-year. Investore Property (IPL, #46) fell -1%, down -2% over six months, though up +15% over the year.
