Here are the key changes to know about in the New Zealand equity market; NZX50 ends flat although up +0.3% for the week. Stride, Heartland, Spark and PFI gain while Mercury, Turners, Summerset and Auckland Airport fall

Here are the key things you need to know about in the NZX markets over the past 24 hours. Changes are as at 3:00 pm and may change when the market closes at 4:45 pm.

WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 is little-changed on the last day of the trading week to be +0.3% higher over the five-days. The benchmark is also +1.9% higher over the past month, +3.7% over six months and +5.5% year-on-year. The market has had a positive weight today with 50 gainers compared to 32 decliners.

THE MAIN GAINERS
Stride Property Group (SPG, #38) was among the strongest gainers, rising +2%, although it remained -4% lower over five days, -9% over the past month and six months, and -13% year-on-year. Heartland Group Holdings (HGH, #28) also gained +2%, taking its five-day increase to +3% and one-month gain to +6%, while it was +48% higher year-on-year. Spark (SPK, #14) rose +2%, extending its five-day gain to +13% and one-month increase to +20%, although it remained -1% lower over six months and -14% year-on-year. Property for Industry (PFI, #29) added +2%, despite being -1% lower over five days, while remaining +6% higher over six months and +2% year-on-year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
Mercury Energy (MCY, #6) was the largest decliner, falling -2%, although it remained +7% higher over five days, +3% over the past month and year, and +13% higher over six months. Turners Automotive (TRA, #35) fell -1%, taking its five-day and one-month declines to -7%, while it remained -11% lower over six months but +8% higher year-on-year. Summerset Group (SUM, #19) also declined -1%, extending its five-day loss to -3% and one-month fall to -4%, while remaining -25% lower over six months and -27% year-on-year. Auckland International Airport (AIA, #4) dropped -1%, taking its five-day decline to -1%, although it remained +2% higher over the past month, while sitting -3% lower over six months and +12% higher year-on-year.

KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
F&P Healthcare (FPH, #1) has provided FY27 first-half guidance for operating revenue of approximately $1.24 bln and net profit after tax of around $280 mln, representing growth of approximately 14% and 24%, respectively, excluding US tariff refunds. The company also lifted its full-year NPAT guidance to $525 mln-$565 mln from $500 mln-$550 mln, while narrowing its operating revenue guidance to $2.47 bln-$2.57 bln. The upgraded outlook reflects strong demand for its latest hospital hardware and consumables, alongside improved gross margins and operating efficiencies.
