  • Enable registered medical practitioners and specialists to prescribe cannabis products for severely ill patients.
  • Define in law the limits on growing cannabis for personal use.
  • Ensure it remains an offence to drive while under the influence of cannabis.

The grass is only Green on one side of the fence...all other parties are sitting on it......a very cough...splutter ....'robust and informative' debate on an issue that will never EVER go away....got to deal with it one day people.

Indeed, better the profits go to the government then gangs. It's not like cannabis use is ever going to go away, and it's a safer drug then the legal alternatives - especially when consumed without smoking it. Considering a large number of New Zealands use cannabis you'd think legalizing or decriminalizng what people a sensible policy.

I fear that whichever political party tries to reform our drug laws , and legalise marijuana , in the end they will only make a hash of it ....
