China's Liaoning Province caught falsifying provincial economic data between 2011 and 2014, Global Times admits (https://investinginchinesestocks.blogspot.com/2017/01/when-it-becomes-s…).
So what else has been overreported, then? Makes you wonder.

The rainfall chart for Northland and most of the Waikato is becoming ever more ominous. And Winston Peters appears to be among the very few pundits taking notice. http://www.nzherald.co.nz/the-country/news/article.cfm?c_id=16&objectid…

This Labour move is intended to take away some of Winston's voters, I think:

Stephen Poloz , Governor of the Canadian Central Bank , said overnight that interest rates could be lowered from 0.5 %. Being neighbours and intimate trading partners with the US in a time of uncertainty, is an issue. However Canada , along with a few others has seen its banks gorge on residential mortgage lending. With a number of regional housing markets faltering what options does a CB have , but to offer a carrot. Could not happen in Australia or New Zealand.

Perhaps a spot prize could be offered to anyone who can find a positive news story in the mainstream media on Trump.
Firstly check nzherald, stuff, Sydney morning herald, radionz, just local yet reflect a continuous stream.
Of course, this is why Trump won the election - the more negative the media, the better for him.

The world also discovered that the UK did not implode after Brexit, despite the fake news from the Bank of England and the media. Maybe the world will survive ok after the 20th?

Brexit hasn't happened yet, will be a few years before we see the outcome.

Perhaps the Trump news will improve after his inauguration, although that could be a bit of a revolving door for him.

Democrats not attending the inauguration will only make Trump more popular. Everything they have tried only makes him more popular. 2017 is going to be a great year.

Those Aussies are so mean! We give our foreign born crims a bit of counselling and a free house for life.

Any idea what will happen to those asian drug dealers/smugglers once they've finished their sentences?
