Here are the key things you need to know about in the NZX markets over the past 24 hours. Changes are as at 3:00 pm and may change when the market closes at 4:45 pm.

WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 is tracking towards a -0.4% decline today, trimming recent gains but leaving the index up +7.7% over the past six months and +7.4% year-on-year.

THE MAIN GAINERS
Freightways Group (FRW, #19) led the market, climbing +3%. The logistics company has risen +6% in the past five days, lifting its 12-month performance to +51%. Kathmandu Brands (KMD, #50) and Ryman Healthcare (RYM, #18) both added +2%. Kathmandu has gained +4% in the last week but remains down -50% year-on-year, while Ryman is off -3% for the month and -39% lower over the past year. Vista Group (VGL, #37) rose +1%, narrowing its one-month loss to -3% and extending its 12-month gain to +11%.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
F&P Healthcare (FPH, #1) fell -5% to a four-week low. The stock is down -4% for the month but remains +3% higher year-on-year. Oceania Healthcare (OCA, #45) slipped -2%, leaving it down -2% for the past week but still up +8% across six months, though -13% lower over 12 months. a2 Milk (ATM, #7) also declined -2% today, though it remains +10% higher across six months and +62% stronger year-on-year. Mercury Energy (MCY, #5) dropped -2%, though it is still up +15% over the past six months and +6% over the year.

KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
BurgerFuel Group (BFG) reported unaudited Total System Sales of $108.2mln for FY25, down -7.6% on last year’s record results that were boosted by the rollout of delivery services. Group revenue fell -8.4% to $24.9mln and net profit after tax dropped -22.6% to $1.02mln, with the company citing softer sales, higher costs and a weaker economy.

Fonterra (FSF, #34) posted revenue of $26 bln for FY25, up +15%, with total cash returns to shareholders rising +31% to $16.2bln and a fully imputed 57c dividend declared. Profit after tax eased -4% to $1.08 bln, while the Farmgate Milk Price was finalised at $10.16 per kgMS, equating to $15.3 bln in farmer payments. The Co-op also confirmed the $4.22 bln sale of its global Consumer business to Lactalis and forecast FY26 earnings of 45–65c per share.
