KEY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Air New Zealand (AIR, #27) carried 4.16 million passengers in the September 2026 quarter, down 1.0% year-on-year, as capacity fell 2.1% amid elevated jet fuel prices. Domestic passenger numbers fell 2.7%, while short-haul passengers increased 3.7% and long-haul passengers declined 2.3%. Long-haul capacity fell 5.4%, reflecting fewer Los Angeles flights and a shift to smaller, more fuel-efficient aircraft.

Napier Port (NPH, #37) will release its financial results for the year ended 30 September on the morning of Wednesday, the 18th of November. Chair Blair O’Keeffe, Chief Executive Todd Dawson and Chief Financial Officer Kristen Lie will discuss the results during a conference call at 11am NZT.

Vector (VCT, #10) reported a +1.6% year-on-year increase in Auckland electricity network connections to 644,577 in the September 2026 quarter, with new connections up +8.8% to 3,478 and electricity distributed volumes rising +1.3% to 2,491 GWh. Residential electricity volumes increased +2.3%, partly reflecting colder winter temperatures, while business volumes rose +0.2%.
