UK,Swedish , USA , banks need to become more "sophisticated " in their lending to catch up to N Z then don't they

More debt to support consumption and the housing market. Banks need to double down on their lending otherwise, if everyone stops borrowing mortgages to the hilt to buy houses all at once, they'll be holding a pile of sh*t as collateral with huge price falls against their mortgages. "Say No to Lehman Events".
