WHAT THE NZX 50 INDEX IS DOING
The NZX50 is up a strong +0.6% today, taking its gain over the past five trading days to +1.2%. The index is now also +0.2% higher over the past month and has gained +2.9% over the past six months and +6.1% over the past year. The market stayed positive, with 57 gainers compared to 27 decliners.
THE MAIN GAINERS
Among the gainers, Air New Zealand (AIR, #24) rose +4%, extending its five-day gain to +3%, although the stock remained down -8% over the past month, -27% over six months and -35% year-on-year. Channel Infrastructure (CHI, #23) gained +3%, taking its five-day increase to +4% and leaving it +3% higher over the past month, although it remained down -27% over six months and -50% year-on-year. Serko (SKO, #49) added +3%, extending its five-day gain to +6%, while it was down -2% over the past month and -15% over six months, with the stock down -43% year-on-year. Oceania Healthcare (OCA, #44) rose +3%, adding to a +2% gain over the past month and leaving it -1% lower over six months, although it stays +15% higher year-on-year.

THE MAIN DECLINERS
Among the decliners, a2 Milk (ATM, #8) fell -1%, extending its five-day decline to -5% and leaving it down -2% over the past month, -30% over six months and -22% year-on-year. Contact Energy (CEN, #5) declined -1%, taking its monthly decline to -4%, while the stock was down -6% over the past six months and -4% year-on-year. Summerset Group Holdings (SUM, #19) slipped -1%, extending its five-day decline to -5%, although it remained +2% higher over the past month, while it was down -20% over six months and -25% year-on-year.
