Westpac grew net residential mortgages by $525 mln in September quarter, with growth not in high LVR lending

Westpac grew net residential mortgage lending in the September quarter, but not through the type of lending the Reserve Bank has imposed a "speed limit" on.

Westpac's residential mortgage book grew $525 million, or 1.4%, in the three months to September 30 to $37.505 billion.
