The Opening Bell: Where currencies start for Monday, March 25, 2013

The NZD/USD opens around 0.8336 after trading to a high of 0.8350 on Friday night.

US markets finished the week on a positive note with the S&P 500 up 0.72% on Friday.

The market remains focused on Cyprus bailout discussions which are expected to be announced in the next few hours.

The NZD opens at current indicative mid rates 0.7985 AUD, 0.6434 EUR, 0.5469 GBP, 78.70 JPY, and 0.8526 CAD.

Not much to report on the local front today.

Cyprus debt discussions will be the focus over the next 24 hours.
