
The NZDUSD opens at 0.7651 (mid-rate) this morning.
The NZDUSD is little changed this morning after peaking at 0.7695 overnight. The U.S. data releases came in on, or above market expectations.
Consumer prices in the U.S. rose 0.2% in line with economist estimates in the month of February while their New home sales unexpectedly jumped to a seven-year high. In February up by 7.8% from a revised January (539k vs. exp 462k).
Global equity markets continue to be mixed - Dow -0.47%, Nikkei -0.21%, Shanghai +0.1%, FTSE -0.26% DAX +0.92%, CAC +0.67%.
Gold prices continue to rise currently trading at $1193 (+$5), Oil (WTI) is currently trading at $47.75 a barrel (+60 cents).
