- GST rates by 2018/19 will be 10%. (more here)

- Labour will take the whole GST off fresh fruit and vegetables from 1 April 2013. This will reduce the price of these foods by 15%, which will help take pressure off the family food bill. Research shows it will help make healthy food more affordable, and bring down health care costs. (more here)
