The NZD/USD opens around 0.8230 this morning.
US stocks are down overnight with S&P 500 -0.77% this morning. Commodities are weaker with gold down 0.3% and oil prices -1.06%. US bond yields are up with the 10 year treasury at 2.84%.
The EUR outperformed overnight trading to over 1.38 against the USD. NZD/EUR is down 1%.
The NZD opens at current indicative levels: 0.9085 AUD, 0.5972 EUR, 0.5028 GBP, 84.47 JPY, 0.8734 CAD.
The focus this morning is the RBNZ at 9am. While no change is expected to the OCR, comments will be closely watched. From Australia the focus will be on Labour force data at 1:30pm NZT.
