Producer prices are a core metric of how private sector enterprises are performing, one that is watched closely by the RBNZ. This chart traces the prices of a selected range of costs.

"Input prices" measure the cost of things businesses buy, while "Output prices" measure the prices those businesses charge for their goods and services.

The data is collected and reported by Statistics NZ quarterly.
